Chris Hiett

Chris Hiett was born in Dartford, Kent, in the south east of England.  Having enjoyed drawing and painting from a young age, he went on to study graphic design and illustration at Medway College of Art and Design.  After completing his studies, Chris started working as an illustrator for children's books, and after a spell as an advertising illustrator he concentrated on producing artwork that would predominantly be used on consumer products.  

With wildlife a speciality, Chris creates beautifully detailed landscapes from around the world: heat baked savannah, woodland scenes, rocky outcrops, tranquil waterholes and jungle scenes.  Featuring a range of animals from superb big cats and magnificent elephants, to graceful deer and cheeky squirrels.
